Word Medley Rules

Word Medley

1. Players take turns submitting words that can be constructed with the letters shown and a blank.
2. After each round, a new letter is added and the required words become one letter longer.
3. A valid word scores 1 point. An invalid word loses 1 point. PASS gives up the turn.
4. NIL scores 3 points if no answers remain and loses 2 points otherwise.
5. Two failed attempts end the round. Every player presses Ready before the next round starts.

Compounds

1. Choose Compounds for standard answers or Compounds with Extensions for the additional extension answers.
2. Find the missing word part that joins the clue to form a complete word.
3. Choose 6-letter, 8-letter, or 10-letter puzzles where available.
4. Select Backs Only, Fronts Only, or Random Mix.
5. A valid answer scores 1 point. An invalid guess loses 1 point. PASS gives up the turn.
6. Every player presses Ready before the prompt is revealed and the timer begins.

Fair play

Use the same selected dictionary and settings throughout a match. Review the Completed Rounds section for found and missed answers after play.
