Information we collect
If you create an account, Word Medley may store your email address, display name, optional country, profile choices, account identifier, and authentication information supplied through our account provider. When you play, we may store game settings, scores, results, ratings, match history, and technical details needed to run multiplayer rooms. Site analytics may include page views, session activity, device or browser information, approximate location derived by analytics providers, and gameplay events.
Google sign-in
If you choose Continue with Google, Google provides Word Medley with basic account information such as your account identifier, email address, and profile name. Word Medley does not receive your Google password. Google sign-in is optional, and players may use another available sign-in method or continue as a guest.
How information is used
We use information to authenticate accounts, show player profiles, connect multiplayer games, save game history, calculate ratings, prevent misuse, troubleshoot problems, understand game usage, and improve Word Medley. We do not sell personal information.
Service providers
Word Medley uses service providers to operate the site. These may include Supabase for account authentication, Google for optional sign-in and site analytics, and hosting or infrastructure providers that deliver the game. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Storage and choices
The game may use cookies, browser storage, or similar technology to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure usage. You can sign out, play as a guest, adjust browser controls, or contact us to ask about your account information. Some records may be retained when reasonably necessary for security, dispute resolution, or operation of multiplayer history.
Children and safety
Word Medley is a general-audience word game and is not directed to children under 13. Please do not send sensitive personal information through player names or game chat.
